Button covers are small, elegant accessories designed to fit over your shirt buttons — instantly transforming any outfit with a refined finishing touch. Subtle yet impactful, they elevate any look with ease. Whether on a blouse, blazer, cardigan or dress, they bring effortless elegance to every look.
Simply open the clasp at the back, place it over your button, and click to secure. It takes just a second and leaves your buttons perfectly covered and styled.
Our button covers fit most garments with buttonholes under 11 mm in diameter — such as shirts, blouses, dresses, jackets, and jumpers.
Each button cover is handmade from premium copper that’s specially treated not to oxidise — meaning no green stains on your clothes. The metal is lightweight, durable, and designed to maintain its shine over time.
We recommend gently wiping the button covers with a soft, dry cloth after wearing. Avoid contact with water, perfume, or cleaning products to preserve their finish. Store them in their original box to prevent scratches.
Each set contains two button covers, carefully packed in our signature packaging and shipped from the Netherlands.
Orders & Payments
We accept all major payment methods, including iDEAL, Bancontact, Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Apple Pay, and Google Pay.
All payments are securely processed to ensure a smooth and safe checkout experience.
Discount codes can only be applied during checkout and can’t be added after your order has been placed.

Shipping & Delivery
Yes — shipping is always free, no matter where you order from.
Orders are processed within 2–3 business days and delivered within 5–8 business days for the Netherlands and Belgium.
For other European countries, delivery usually takes 7–12 business days.
Please note that these are estimated delivery times and may vary slightly depending on local postal services.
Once your order has been shipped, you’ll receive an email with your track & trace code so you can follow your parcel’s journey.
You can also easily track your order at any time through our Track Your Order page by entering your order number and email address.
If your order hasn’t arrived within the estimated timeframe, please allow a few additional business days

Returns & Refunds
You can return or exchange your order within 14 days of receiving it.
Items must be unused, unworn, and returned in their original packaging.
To start a return, simply email support@thebuttonatelier.com with your order number and reason for return.
Our team will send you clear instructions and the return address.
Return shipping costs are at the customer’s expense, unless you received a damaged or incorrect item.
In that case, we’ll cover the return or replacement cost.
Once we’ve received and inspected your return, your refund will be processed within 5 business days.
You’ll receive the amount through your original payment method.
